This is a fairly extensive site about the organization's Cotton Programs, Services, Resources, resources and more.

    Cotton Incorporated is a research and promotion company funded by U.S. cotton producers and importers of cotton goods into the United States. The organization is a prime source for all information regarding U.S. and is committed to building a future for world cotton.

  • Cotton Marketing Weekly
    Written by the renowned Dr. O. A. Cleveland Jr., the newsletter covers the current situation of the cotton market, as well as provides predictions for future trends based on a variety of factors.

  • Cotton Outlook
    The Home page of Cotlook Limited. As publishers of Cotton Outlook, they provide up-to-date information on the worldwide cotton industry.

  • International Cotton Advisory Committee
    The ICAC serves the world cotton industry as a source of timely, market-relevant statistics and scientific information, and as a forum for international cooperation.  The ICAC is an association of more than 40 governments of countries that produce, consume and trade cotton.  The ICAC is the premier source of international data on the world cotton industry, from forecasts of cotton supply, use and prices to tracking exports by destination and imports by origin.  The ICAC also measures and forecasts cotton consumption and cotton's share of fiber demand in the world and by region, and is the primary source in the world for statistics on fiber demand.

  • National Agriculture Statistics Service
    Each year the employees of USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) conduct hundreds of surveys and prepare reports covering virtually every facet of U.S. agriculture. NASS publications cover a wide range of subjects, from traditional crops, such as corn and wheat, to specialties, such as mushrooms and flowers; from calves born to hogs slaughtered; from agricultural prices to land in farms.

  • National Cotton Council, Memphis, TN
    Information on the National Cotton Council, a nonprofit commodity organization representing 35,000 producers and processors of raw cotton and dedicated to strengthening that industry's ability to compete effectively and profitably in fiber and oilseed markets at home and abroad. This site is very small and contains mostly information about educational material.

    The New York Cotton Exchange has a large site with information on contract specs, charts & data including current future prices, and other information. It includes information on Cotton future contracts, but also includes futures contract information and pricing on other commodities.

    Needs no introduction. The USDA's web site is an extensive system of agricultural information.

    The mission of ARS is to provide access to agricultural information and develop new knowledge and technology needed to solve technical agricultural problems of broad scope and high national priority to ensure adequate availability of high-quality, safe food and other agricultural products to meet the nutritional needs of the American consumer, to sustain a viable and competitive food and agricultural economy, to enhance quality of life and economic opportunity for rural citizens and society as a whole, and to maintain a quality environment and natural resource base.
